Izabella Venter

Izabella is the designer behind the scenarios, themes, and puzzles that make Escape Mate more than just an escape game. She invents intricate contraptions, storylines, and witty game flows while creating dramatic, theatrical, and immersive game sets that captivate players. Her creativity and attention to detail ensure each room tells a unique story, drawing players into a world of mystery and adventure. From the tiniest prop to the largest set piece, Izabella meticulously crafts every element to deliver an unforgettable experience that keeps players coming back for more.

Technician & Handiest Man Alive

Rory

Rory designs, programs, and builds the software and hardware behind our high-tech puzzles. Collaborating with Izabella, he brings her imagination to life with creations that are interactive, unexpected, and indestructible—even a time machine! Operating behind the scenes, Rory ensures every element adds to the magic of the experience. Whether it's crafting sleek touch-screen interfaces or rugged mechanical devices, his work combines cutting-edge technology with seamless functionality to create puzzles that amaze and challenge players at every turn.

Artist & Visual Designer

Karolina

Karolina transforms walls, props, and recycled materials into epic artworks, statues, and immersive designs that define Escape Mate’s signature style. Her standout piece, a life-size statue named Lilith, was remade into the Cyborg—a dramatic figure encased in glass, bringing a unique edge to the Vault. Karolina’s ability to make art out of anything you give her ensures every game environment feels authentic and alive. From hand-painted murals to intricately crafted props, her work turns each room into a masterpiece, leaving players in awe of her creativity and talent.
